Martha D. Karimi
Co-Founder and Partner
Martha leads our Recruitment, Senior Leadership Transition and Career Coaching departments. She is a passionate innovator, with a keen interest in maximizing individuals’ potential and building high-performing organizations. Martha brings to edge vast experience in talent management and organization development from diverse sectors and realities: From Fortune 500 firms and midsized companies to non-profits. Having worked and lived in India, Tanzania and Kenya with colleagues from over 30 countries, she’s a multi-cultural leader. Martha is also an avid advocate of living happy, meaningful and balanced careers, a spirit she strives to live through a dedicated practice to boxing, yoga, Vipassana meditation and various forms of art such as photography and pottery.

Manuela has experience in the consulting, corporate and academic fields and initiated and led various community initiatives. After obtaining a M.Sc. Business Information Systems with majors in HR management and B2B marketing from Darmstadt University of Technology in Germany, she led AIESEC’s leadership development activities in East Africa for three years. Based in London, she co-ran a global talent development program from 2011, working with over 80 Start-Ups and Social Businesses, partnering with various Impact Funds. In 2014 Manuela returned to Nairobi to co-found edge in Kenya. Her core drivers are improvement, fairness and participation.

Together, we have helped transform organizations in four continents, coached and trained hundreds of managers and recruited over 300 professionals for key roles in growing organizations!
Passionate about people, Fabianna worked in the public and private sector after finishing her Bachelor in Human Resource Management. She chose edge because of her keen interest in working with growing organizations in helping them align their human capital needs to their business objectives and now supports social impact organizations in recruiting top talent. Fabianna leads recruitment projects around East Africa for edge in various sectors and fields.
Passionate about people development, and with over five years’ experience working on various aspects of talent management, Lionel’s area of focus has been training and development, where he has been heavily involved in the design, preparation and implementation of programs on career growth, leadership, and crucial 21st century skills. To him, a work environment should provide individuals with fulfillment, happiness and growth – therefore his current focus is matching talent with job opportunities that they are not only qualified for, but would truly enjoy working on.
Paula finds fulfillment in being part of innovative solutions that shape the future, with focus on maximizing talents and youth employability. Her firm belief is that having the right team translates to business growth. The right team to her means pairing talent to the job that leverages it and nurturing growth at work and on a personal level. Paula holds a B.Sc. in Human Resource Management and enjoys being challenged to perfect her craft.
Rey has a keen interest in talent management and organizational development. He works on jobseeker and recruitment projects at edge. Rey holds a degree in Economics, Psychology and Sociology from Kenyatta University, and has worked with various youth organizations and helped them build effective and high performing teams. Reynold is a creative and loves learning new languages.
Eric is a management consultant with 7 years’ experience in recruitment, operational leadership, HR management, and organizational development in large organizations and social enterprises. He loves learning & development and has extensive experience in the design, delivery, and enhancement of effective instructional programs.
He’s a member at IHRM and a co-founder at The Kijiji.
Denise is passionate about youth and career development. She has an interest in human resource as an asset to organizations and loves to support social enterprises and growing organizations and figure out how to choose the right talent to help them achieve their goals. Denise brings a Computer Technology degree and an outgoing nature to edge!
During her studies in Uganda, Kate got involved in Talent Development and Entrepreneurship. Before joining edge she spent two years in India, managing an agile workforce allocation system in a large IT-Consulting company. She is excited about enabling each employee to develop and contribute off their strengths.
Stan has a passion for developing people and their skills. He partners with edge from time to time, bringing in his has vast experience in Training Consultancy in the areas of driving team excellence, entrepreneurship, management and leadership, career success and wealth creation. Stan has worked with organizations all the way from start-ups, social enterprises to international organizations, universities and think tanks. He holds an law degree and a Master’s in Diplomacy.
Based in Brussels, Graham brings 20 years experience in Executive Coaching, Organizational Development and Innovation Management to edge. From South Africa, he is passionate about enabling business in Africa. He drives innovative human capital approaches like holacracy and peer-coaching through various ventures. Graham runs EvoluteSix
